NVM Pet Announces Leadership Transition, Promotes Next Generation of Executive Leadership

After five years as President, Phil Souza will retire effective September 30, 2026, concluding a tenure marked by significant growth, expanded retail partnerships, and continued investment in NVM Pet's manufacturing capabilities. Under his leadership, the company strengthened its position as one of the pet industry's premier manufacturers.

Moving into the role of President is current Vice President of Sales, Sean Icenhour, effective October 1, 2026. Since joining NVM Pet, Icenhour has been instrumental in building the company's key retail partnerships. His understanding of the pet industry and retail landscape positions him to lead NVM Pet into its next chapter while maintaining the company's customer-first approach.

In addition, Steven Hood has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Hood has led the transformation of NVM Pet's manufacturing operations, helping the company evolve from a growing startup into one of the industry's leading pet bed manufacturers. In his expanded role, he will continue driving operational excellence while supporting the company's long-term growth.

Adding to NVM Pet's leadership team, Courtney Dinsing has been promoted to Vice President of Product Development. Over the last five years, Dinsing has built a talented product development team that elevates NVM Pet's capabilities and strengthens its portfolio of brands. In her new role, she will continue leading product strategy that support the company's long-term growth.
