Ninth Season of the Concert Series Begins in January

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Dec. 28, 2018 - EntSun -- Fabián López and Inara Zandmane will open the ninth season of Gaudium Musicae concert series for a hour-long performance on Sunday, January 27th at 4 p.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 3635 Park Road. A small reception following the concert gives fellow listeners an opportunity to meet the performers.
Violinist Fabián López has been recognition as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. Ināra Zandmane is one of the leading collaborative pianists of North Carolina and is the staff accompanist at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Together they will be performing selected works for violin and piano duo.
The Gaudium Musicae series is designed to support exceptional, primarily local and regional musicians by providing an acoustically excellent, intimate venue for performance and to present diverse programming.

The 2019 Gaudium Musicae concert series will continue with the Emalie Savoy, an opera soloist singing St. Hildegard on February 17th at 4 p.m., and will conclude with Passio: The Passion of the Christ by VOX & Firebird Arts Alliance on April 7th at 4 p.m.
Season subscriptions are available through January 27th for $90 for families, $40 for adults, and $28 for students. Single concert tickets are $33 for families, $15 for adults, and $11 for students. Children 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.StAnnCharlotte.org/musicae, after Masses in the St. Ann's parish office or at the door. Sponsorships are available for each of the concerts. Contact the parish office at 704-523-4641 ext. 221 for information on tax-deductible contributions and sponsorships.
