About Joann Socrates

Joann Socrates grew up in New Jersey and made her way across the big stages of New York. Taking her talents to Los Angeles, performing at the Hollywood Improv and The Comedy Store. You may have spotted the charismatic comedic Socrates in a variety of movies and sitcoms, of which to include Spin City and MADTV.  Socrates is also known for her winning production "The Wake Me Up Before You GoGo Show", taking home several awards at the LA Comedy Festival.

Her likability and comedic style makes her a crowd favorite. Her passion for making people laugh is what drives her comedic style and she has a likable edge to her stand up performances. Joann has signature bits about her life growing up in New Jersey, being raised by a single parent, to getting ripped off  by a Jiffy Lube grease Monkey "because she's a woman and doesn't know anything about cars!"

The Blues Burgers

Located in Hallandale Beach is the go-to spot when you want a night out made with memories. Inside is complete with a friendly atmosphere, craft beers, and mainly a tribute to old school blues country music, and rock n roll. Featuring  live music, amazing grass-fed burgers, incredible akaushi beef options, vegan burgers, and so much more. This is our second location opening after the success we had on the first one in Little River, Miami.
