New OTC Tube Filling Services Now Available With ATLAS Contract Packaging

VERNON, N.J. - June 11, 2018 - EntSun -- ATLAS Contract Packaging, LLC announces the success of registering with the FDA as an Over-The-Counter (OTC) establishment for primary and secondary packaging.  ATLAS previously has been registered under the Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program (VCRP) which is an FDA post-market reporting system.

Careful preparations were taken from the very beginning when building out the production room, selecting all of the components that will meet and exceed the specs provided by the FDA.  The same steps were taken when developing the Quality Management System (QMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) currently in place.

With the new registration classification achieved, ATLAS can now package any product with SPF claims most commonly found in sunscreen lotions.  It has been a growing trend with many other products such as make-up and skincare cosmetics to incorporate SPF claims.  Other types of popular OTC products range from toothpaste, anti-acne, anti-fungal, & topical analgesics to name a few.

This year, ATLAS has also successfully made the upgrade from ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001: 2015.  The current deadline to implement the update is September 23rd, 2018 to continue to comply with ISO 9001.  ATLAS also has their ISO 22716 Cosmetic cGMP standards certificate and processes seamlessly integrated into their QMS.
