ANNAPOLIS, MD (September 10, 2026) ~ Annapolis, MD - The first Equine Conservation Summit, organized by the Maryland Department of Agriculture's Horse Outreach Workgroup, is set to take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at the University System of Maryland at Southern Maryland in California. The summit aims to provide resources and education for horse owners and enthusiasts in Maryland.
The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET and is open to anyone who owns or cares for horses. Attendees can expect a series of workshops covering topics such as soil health, nutrient management, equine nutrition, and pasture maintenance. These workshops are designed to equip horse owners with the knowledge and tools needed to benefit both their horses and the land they live on.
One of the highlights of the summit will be a panel discussion where horse farm owners can ask questions and seek advice from experts on finding technical and financial resources to achieve their goals. This provides a valuable opportunity for attendees to network with other members of the equine community.
