Long Island businessman turned balladeer, John Beyer, aims to make his music video debut with "drama-pop" retaliation themed song..."Revenge"

NEW YORK - EntSun -- :"Revenge" is a dramatic pop/rock & musical theatre-tinged song that is perfectly timed with our current culture. When you turn on the news, there's the Michael Cohen book titled, "Revenge."  There's the "Scandoval" and the images of Ariana Madix's revenge dress. There's Miley Cyrus' massive hit song, "Flowers" which is allegedly a jab at her ex. Shakira & SZA have also released their hit revenge songs. It seems like we are in the era of revenge.

Dynamic daily songwriter, Benjamin Hey! (Ra-ta-tat-tat, No Samples, Laverne Cox) is the writer and co-producer of "Revenge." The song was co-produced with the help of multi-instrumentalist music producer, Arthur Pingrey (Sting, Sia, Flo Rida).

"Revenge is a new lane for me. Ben aka "The Captain" is helping me carve out a new genre called "drama-pop." This is a song niche that allows me to be dramatic with my storytelling and playful with my performance," said Beyer.
