Lisa Wessan LICSW to be honored as maverick therapist in Massachusetts State House

BOSTON - Feb. 27, 2019 - EntSun -- Social workers and legislators will gather at the Massachusetts State House (24 Beacon Street, Room 437)  on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 1-2 PM,  to celebrate Social Work Month together. This event is organized by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Lisa Wessan, LICSW, will be featured as part of a special exhibition honoring maverick clinical social workers who are serving the community with extraordinary therapeutic, writing and teaching skills.

The exhibit is intended to elevate and celebrate the diverse and meaningful contributions of social workers across the Commonwealth.

Remarks will be given by NASW-MA member, social worker, and State Representative Tami Gouveia, NASW-MA Executive Director Rebekah Gewirtz, and others.
