From DJ Booths to Disney: Orlando Author Ryan Tiffin Launches "Chasing Magic"
EntSun News/11098698
Now available in print and audio, the book traces Tiffin's unconventional journey from an LGBTQ+ young person searching for belonging to a DJ, Disney Cast Member, and guest-experience leader, and turns those experiences into lessons for young professionals.
ORLANDO, Fla. - EntSun -- Orlando-based author, speaker, and guest-experience leader Ryan Tiffin has released Chasing Magic: How Experience Changes Lives and Shapes Leaders in print and audiobook formats.
Part memoir and part leadership guide, Chasing Magic follows Tiffin from an LGBTQ+ youth searching for belonging to a professional career spanning live entertainment, DJ work, Disney, hospitality, communications, marketing and executive leadership.
"My career was never a straight line," Tiffin said. "Whether I was behind a DJ booth, serving guests at Disney or leading a team, I kept learning the same lesson: experiences can stay with people long after the moment ends."
The first portion of the book explores identity, acceptance, adversity and impostor syndrome. Tiffin reflects on how feeling different shaped his confidence and later helped him understand the importance of making employees, guests and colleagues feel seen.

The second portion translates those experiences into practical guidance for young professionals, emerging leaders and managers. Tiffin challenges the belief that leadership starts with a title, arguing that anyone can influence culture through everyday choices and interactions.
One of the book's central messages is: "You cannot create magic with a team that feels invisible."
Tiffin says memorable guest and customer experiences begin with employees who feel respected, trusted, and empowered. Chasing Magic encourages leaders to look beyond titles and metrics and pay closer attention to the human experience within their teams.
The audiobook is narrated by Gary Eoff, a longtime friend of Tiffin. Their personal connection helped bring added warmth and authenticity to the stories.
"Hearing Gary bring these memories and lessons to life made the audiobook especially meaningful," Tiffin said. "He understood the heart behind the book, not simply the words."
Chasing Magic is written for young professionals, hospitality and entertainment leaders, LGBTQ+ youth, people navigating impostor syndrome, and anyone seeking to lead with greater empathy.
