KLM Enterprise Services Announces Student-Created Sports Management Platform U Manage US

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - EntSun -- KLM Enterprise Services LLC and CEO La'Nardo Myrick Sr. announce the creation of uManage, a sports team management learning platform developed by Jeanne Myrick, a student at The Pembroke Hill School in Kansas City, Missouri. Designed for students in grades 7 through 12, uManage is intended to help young people explore sports management as a real area of responsibility, leadership and future career development.

Jeanne is an author of several books, a fashion clothing designer and has served in a student trainer role since ninth grade. Her experience around school athletics helped shape the idea for a platform that gives student managers more structure, purpose and room to grow. Rather than treating team management as simply "something to do," uManage is designed to help students build practical skills that can carry forward into college and, eventually, careers in sports business and administration.

The platform is expected to support user accounts, team-management tools, ongoing free updates and additional features as it develops. Students can use the system to strengthen skills connected to scheduling, organization, communication, equipment and team support, event preparation, recordkeeping, leadership and day-to-day sports operations. The annual user fee is $20.

Sports management can lead to a wide range of career paths, from team operations and athletic administration to athlete representation, event management, marketing and sports development. In the United States, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports a 2025 median annual wage of $82,890 for agents and business managers of artists, performers and athletes, with projected employment growth of 10% from 2025 to 2035. Internationally, the United Kingdom's National Careers Service lists sports development officer salaries at roughly £23,000 to £35,000 annually. Pay varies widely by role, experience, employer, sport and country, but the figures demonstrate that sports management can develop into serious professional work.

Jeanne hopes uManage can become a tradition for student managers in any sport and eventually be used by young people around the world. The goal is to give students a forward-thinking way to understand that a team manager can be a bona fide position with responsibilities, skills and a pathway that continues beyond high school.
