PORTLAND, Ore. - EntSun -- Hi-Lo Hotel, Autograph Collection is pleased to announce the appointment of Casey Baker as General Manager, bringing an experienced Portland hospitality leader to the 120-room boutique hotel in the heart of downtown. Baker's connection to Oregon extends beyond his hospitality career. A graduate of Portland State University and a recipient of the Ford Family Foundation's Ford ReStart Scholarship, he has built his career and community involvement in the region. That connection shapes his approach to leading Hi-Lo, with an emphasis on strengthening local partnerships, supporting downtown Portland and creating a hotel that serves not only its guests, but the community around it.
"Hi-Lo has all of the pieces that make a Portland hotel special: incredible architecture, personality, great spaces and a team that genuinely wants to create memorable experiences," said Baker. "Our opportunity is to make sure more people experience it. I want Hi-Lo to be a hotel that our guests love discovering and a place where Portlanders feel equally welcome to dine, gather, celebrate and collaborate."
At Hi-Lo, Baker's vision centers on reconnecting the hotel with both the Portland community and the travelers who come to experience it. That includes expanding local partnerships, growing group and corporate business, creating new programming and activations, and showcasing the hotel's flexible gathering spaces in new ways. The Studio, Commons and Exchange offer opportunities ranging from corporate meetings and private celebrations to community events, pop-ups and locally focused experiences.

Baker is also placing renewed emphasis on CraftPDX, Hi-Lo's restaurant and bar, as an integral part of the hotel's identity. Through expanded programming, local partnerships and approachable food and beverage experiences, the goal is to create additional reasons for hotel guests, downtown workers and Portland residents to experience the property throughout the year. As part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, Hi-Lo combines the individuality of a boutique hotel with the global reach of Marriott Bonvoy. Located at 320 SW Harvey Milk Street, the historic property features 120 guestrooms, CraftPDX restaurant and bar, Hi-Lo Merchant and distinctive meeting and event spaces.
"Portland is my home. It's where I went to school, built my hospitality career and developed relationships throughout this community," Baker said. "I believe deeply in downtown and in the opportunity ahead of us. I'm excited for Hi-Lo to be part of that momentum and to continue finding creative ways to bring people together."
