Hawkesmill Improves Premium Range of Camera Bags
EntSun News/10755186
Camera bag maker, Hawkesmill, have revised their popular range of camera messenger bags.
EDENBRIDGE, England - Oct. 22, 2018 - EntSun -- Hawkesmill England has announced that it has made some improvements to their already impressive line of the most luxurious camera bags produced, making them even more durable and useful.
In what is really an engineering and manufacturing accomplishment, Hawkesmill was able to reduce the weight of the large bag by about 17%, from 6 pounds (2.7kg) to 5 pounds (2.2kg), while also making the bag roomier. The company was able to find padding that is thinner and lighter that produces the same results in terms of protecting camera gear stored inside. Another quite unique feature is that the bag, which has a traditional shoulder strap, now converts quite easily into a backpack.
Hawkesmill founder, Taylor Young stated, "We developed our original line of camera messenger bags with specifications and utility that we wanted in a perfect camera bag, but just could not find. We have made some revisions to the large bag after more than two years of customer feedback, as well as reviews from some of the world's most respected websites and magazines. And, we are extremely proud of the results"

All of the large and small Hawkesmill bags are handcrafted in England and each of the bags are water- and dust-proof adding layers of protection for a photographers' precious camera gear. The distinctive line also offers unique hand-crafted detailing and functional features that set them quite above the competition, affording their owners with bags that wear-in, not out, over their lifetime.
Among the features that distinguish Hawkesmill bags are the use of Scottish-made canvas and tweed, English Bridle or Italian leather straps and accents, a detachable military-grade webbing shoulder strap with comfortable cushion, and a rear compartment that holds the included finely-crafted rear sleeve/organizer. The large bags also feature a removable insert with Velcro dividers that holds a 15" MacBook Pro. With the insert removed, the bags transform into a beautiful and functional overnight messenger.
The five large models in the Hawkesmill line are the all-black Bond Street; the incredible light olive Jermyn Street, sporting classic golden Harris Tweed; the distinctive khaki-like Marlborough with English Bridle leather; the black body with charcoal Harris Tweed flap Sloane Street, and, the magnificent, newer, Monmouth Street, sporting a navy canvas body with Harris tweed flap, accentuated by rich brown leather.
