DEAR PILLOW unfolds through a series of hilarious letters between Charlie, a bored boy who cannot get to sleep, and his exhausted PILLOW who desperately needs his help. Together, this unlikely duo discovers what it takes to finally be able to get some rest. Necessity is the literal mother of invention, as Ms. Saunders Lehrer explains how the idea for DEAR PILLOW came about. "My two daughters often resisted the dreaded bedtime, and also had trouble falling asleep. On a whim, I crafted silly notes written from their pillows, and it made our bedtime routine a more pleasant experience."

DEAR PILLOW is the first in a series of "little self-helper" books that use humor as a tool to open up constructive dialogues about various parenting challenges. When parents and children can first laugh together about a difficult subject, the communication that follows is more productive. Additional titles in the series will address picky eaters, tantrums, messy rooms, and more. DEAR PILLOW and the concept behind it are also available for licensing and media opportunities.
