Two Awards Honoring Women in Animal Health Will Be Presented in 2023
ORLANDO, Fla. - EntSun -- Feather in Her CapSM Association, Inc Announces New Award

Feather In Her Cap Association announced the addition of a second award to honor the accomplishments of women leaders that are early in their career within the animal health industry.
"We are delighted to share this exciting opportunity to celebrate more women leaders in the animal health industry," said Feather in Her Cap Vice President, Lesley Rausch-Derra. "We created the Highflyer Award to honor women who will be leading us through the future of our industry." This award will be presented for the first time at the Sixth Annual Feather in Her Cap Award celebration on January 16, 2023.
The Highflyer Award will be given to a mid-career professional woman with 4-10 years in the animal health industry who has achieved at least one major accomplishment and demonstrates a working relationship with a mentor in the industry.

The Feather in Her Cap Award is given to a woman with at least 10 years in the animal health industry who has demonstrated excellence in her field and a commitment to mentoring women.
Nominations for both the Feather in Her Cap Award and the Highflyer Award are open now. Details can be found at www.featherinhercap.org.

A group of women leaders in the animal health industry formed the non-profit Feather in Her Cap Association, Inc. in 2017, to honor women who have made outstanding contributions in animal health through scientific, industrial, or commercial excellence and by demonstrating commitment to mentoring women. The Association hosts an annual event to present the award and honor the nominees. The 2023 Feather in Her Cap Award event will be in Orlando, Florida on January 16, 2023.
