EntSun News/10978120
Funds will be used to help offset convention fees for a locally-owned dance studio
SURPRISE, Ariz. - EntSun -- EDAC Booster Club was recently awarded a $2,500 grant through Arizona Financial Credit Union's Local Causes Visa® debit card give-back program. The debit card initiative was launched by the locally based financial cooperative in 2020 to allow its member-owners the opportunity to impact change in the community with every swipe of their debit card.
The grant will allow EDAC Booster Club's to provide affordable dance opportunities to their company dancers by paying the fees required to attend the Nuvo dance convention.
"We are very appreciative of this generous grant from AZFCU's Local Causes Community Fund, said Executive Director Alma Rhoads. "Through the Local Causes grant, we will be able to carry out our mission of providing a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages to express their love and passion for dance."
EDAC Booster Club was joined by 11 other deserving non-profits in receiving these grants through Arizona Financial who will continue to make bi-annual grants in the future.
