DOR Advanced Technologies Launches ANCHOR™ to Verify Instructions Before Critical Systems Act
EntSun News/11104713
ANCHOR™ installs as software on equipment already in the field and confirms who sent each instruction and whether it changed before a critical system acts on it. It keeps working with no network connection at all.
WASHINGTON - EntSun -- Every day, power substations, drones, medical devices, and payment systems act on instructions the moment they arrive. Most of them have no way to confirm who actually sent those instructions or whether anyone changed them on the way. DOR Advanced Technologies, a U.S. deep-tech company, today launched ANCHOR™, software that checks every instruction before a critical system acts on it.
The tools most organizations rely on today check the envelope. Firewalls decide what gets in by where it came from and what it looks like, and once something passes, the system acts on whatever is inside. Monitoring tools report trouble after the system has already acted. Encryption keeps data private on the way, and a message from an attacker with stolen credentials arrives just as encrypted. ANCHOR reads the letter itself, at the system that will act on it.
ANCHOR confirms that an instruction came from the source it claims and that nothing was altered on the way, and it does this without a copy of the original to compare against. When an instruction fails that check, ANCHOR holds it before the system ever touches it. The operator decides what happens next, and every decision is recorded with a reason. ANCHOR also checks itself and the machine it runs on continuously, so the organization knows the checkpoint itself has not been tampered with.

ANCHOR installs as software, so there is no new hardware to buy and no redesign to schedule. It keeps working with no connection at all, which protects remote sites, ships, aircraft, and isolated networks. Every deployment is built around the customer's own system, and it works alongside the security tools and standards already in place.
ANCHOR is built for the places where acting on a bad instruction costs lives or money, from defense platforms and power grids to hospitals, banks, and autonomous systems.
"Critical systems act on millions of instructions they have no way to check, and every one of those decisions is a guess," said Kaleo Lane, Founder and CEO of DOR Advanced Technologies. "ANCHOR replaces the guess with an answer. Before the system acts, it knows who sent the instruction and whether anyone touched it."
ANCHOR is available now. Organizations can request a briefing or a live demonstration at doradvancedtech.com/contact.
