Degy Entertainment Launches New Non-Profit Initiative: Degy Impact
EntSun News/11048930
Driving meaningful change through entertainment and empowerment
DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - EntSun -- Degy Entertainment proudly unveils Degy IMPACT, a non–profit organization dedicated to creating lasting societal change by leveraging the power of entertainment. Through its focus on health, education, and charitable initiatives, Degy IMPACT exemplifies the company's commitment to making a difference in communities nationwide.
Transforming Communities with Purpose
Degy IMPACT's mission is simple but profound: To amplify positive change by addressing pressing societal issues, supporting aspiring entertainment professionals, and integrating charitable initiatives into live events.
From supporting schools and families to inspiring life-saving contributions, Degy IMPACT's initiatives are driven by the belief that entertainment can be a force for good in the world.
Partnering with Gift of Life Marrow Registry
At the heart of Degy IMPACT's health initiatives is its partnership with the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. This collaboration aims to grow the marrow registry by engaging college students and event attendees across the country.
At Degy's recent company summit in West Palm Beach, FL, on January 13, 2025, Marti Freund, JD, Chief Strategy and Operations Officer, General Counsel, at Gift of Life Marrow Registry, joined the Degy team to share the life-saving importance of bone marrow registration. Inspired by her words, nearly a dozen Degy team members swabbed to join the registry – a powerful example of leading by action.

"Gift of Life Marrow Registry is thrilled to partner with Degy IMPACT, a leader in serving colleges and universities," said Freund. "Degy's proven expertise in engaging students aligns perfectly with Gift of Life's mission to educate and inspire the next generation while expanding our life-saving registry. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to empowering students to make a profound and lasting impact by giving hope, saving lives, and creating a brighter future for those in need."
Degy IMPACT invites schools to join the movement by hosting Gift of Life swabbing drives during campus events. Together, they aim to inspire students to take small actions with life-changing results.
Empowering Schools and Families Through Clean Clothes Initiatives
Recognizing the challenges faced by families in need, Degy IMPACT has launched a clean clothes initiative to provide laundry resources for students. Research shows that 1 in 5 children lack access to clean clothing, which often results in school absences and significantly increases dropout rates.
Degy IMPACT is partnering with the Palm Beach County School System and the McKinney-Vento Program to donate laundry machines to local schools, ensuring students have access to clean clothes and the confidence to succeed.
This initiative officially launched during the Degy Live: Cruise + Buyer Showcase on January 14, 2025, where attendees were invited to bring bottles of laundry detergent to support the cause. With over 100 industry professionals in attendance, CEO Ari Nisman revealed that these contributions would directly support the first machine donation.
"The School District of Palm Beach County is honored to have shared insights at the Degy Live Showcase on the challenges impacting homeless students. We are thrilled to partner with Degy Impact to install washing machines and dryers in schools, removing barriers to attendance and supporting student success." said Amy Mazzocco, McKinney-Vento Program Manager.

Supporting the Next Generation of Entertainment Professionals
Degy IMPACT is also empowering students by establishing a national scholarship program for those pursuing careers in entertainment. The program provides financial assistance, mentorship opportunities, and connections with industry leaders. This initiative will double its resources by its second year, helping aspiring professionals in music, theater, production, event management, and more. By connecting recipients with Degy's vast network, the program bridges the gap between education and a successful career.
Creating a Sustainable Funding Model
To fund these initiatives, Degy IMPACT is launching an online auction platform featuring memorabilia from the music and sports industries. Items will include consigned products and signed memorabilia from Degy Entertainment events. This innovative funding approach ensures the long-term growth and sustainability of Degy IMPACT's mission.
"Degy IMPACT embodies the spirit of what entertainment can achieve beyond the stage," said Ari Nisman, Founder and President of Degy Entertainment. "This initiative allows us to channel our resources, creativity, and connections into projects that truly matter – from empowering students to addressing critical health and education challenges. I'm thrilled to see how Degy IMPACT will shape lives and strengthen communities for years to come."
