Christelle Bois, Director of the series "The Story of Art in America", explores the role of the arts in our society
EntSun News/10903240
The award-winning documentary filmmaker Christelle Bois will be on the road again in the spring of 2022 for the filming of The Story of Art in America's Season 2, giving a voice to diverse artists in all disciplines.
NEW YORK - EntSun -- Christelle Bois (a.k.a. "EFDLT Studio"), is an NYC-based award-winning documentary filmmaker known for her first acclaimed feature documentary film Americart 2019, produced by Legit Productions and released on Amazon Prime Video in June 2020.
As a child, she would have never imagined that she could do anything artistic, and yet decades after, she does. She is dedicated to advocate for better access to the arts and to point out all the barriers that impede access to art such as social origin, economic status, cultural differences, and systemic discriminations.
With her first documentary film Americart 2019, she had at heart to touch the viewer's soul with intimate and truthful interviews of everyday Americans about their personal relationships with art. She likes to hammer that art is not a "niche for educated people", "it is the very soul of our society".
