The Udsen Family of Castoro Cellars Winery gives a portion of Whale Rock Music & Arts Festival proceeds to TIMBA
TEMPLETON, Calif. - Dec. 22, 2017 - EntSun -- Whale Rock Music & Arts Festival 2017 (formerly Beaverstock) was the 5th annual festival orchestrated by the Udsen family of Castoro Cellars Winery. 2017 has set an all time high in attendance. Sell out crowds enabled Castoro Cellars to make a donation in the amount of $24,268 to the Templeton Instrumental Music Boosters Association (TIMBA). The Udsen family happily presented a check to the band director of TIMBA, David Landers on Tuesday December 12, 2017.
As dedicated supporters of the local community and longtime lovers of music and arts, the Udsen Family has given a portion of Whale Rock's proceeds to a local charity every year. The total currently exceeds $70,000, past benefactors include Templeton Education Foundation and MUST! Charities.
TIMBA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit parent volunteer organization that supports Templeton High School musicians by enhancing their learning experiences and providing additional resources and opportunities that might not otherwise exist.
