Capon Valley Bank is proud to announce the 4th Annual Veterans Festival, presented by Capon Valley Bank and hosted by Backseat Events, on Saturday, September 19, 2026

WINCHESTER, Va. - EntSun -- WINCHESTER, Va. – Capon Valley Bank is proud to announce the 4th Annual Veterans Festival, presented by Capon Valley Bank and hosted by the Backseat Events Center, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Backseat Events, 104 Full House Drive, Winchester, Virginia.

What began four years ago as a small gathering in the parking lot of Capon Valley Bank's Stephens City branch has grown into an annual community tradition dedicated to honoring veterans, connecting families with valuable resources, and supporting local veteran organizations. This year, thanks to a partnership with Backseat Events, the festival enters its next chapter with a larger venue and the addition of a Community Car Show, designed to broaden participation and raise even more support for local veteran non-profit organizations.

The Community Car Show will welcome cars, trucks, jeeps, and motorcycles, with vehicle registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. A $15 cash entry fee is required for each show vehicle, with payment collected during registration. Trophies will be awarded in multiple categories. Throughout the day, visitors can also enjoy auctions and raffle drawings, with all proceeds benefiting selected local veteran non-profit organizations.

While the event continues to grow, its mission remains unchanged. Local veteran organizations will once again be on hand to share information about the programs, services, and resources available to veterans and their families. A special Gratitude Ceremony honoring veterans will take place at 12:00 p.m., recognizing the sacrifices and service of the men and women who have defended our nation.

"Our goal has always been to honor those who have served while bringing the community together," said Craig Foster, Marketing Officer for Capon Valley Bank. "Each year we've been fortunate to see the event grow through the support of our community partners, volunteers, local businesses, and attendees. The move to Backseat Events and the addition of the Community Car Show allow us to welcome even more people while raising additional funds for local veteran non-profit organizations."

Admission to the festival is free. Whether you're entering a vehicle, supporting a great cause, or simply spending the day with family and friends, everyone is invited to join the celebration.
