Call Me Ace Owns He's the Most Unique Player in Hip Hop with "No Assistance"

A Follow-Up to His 5-Track project, Working From Home: Extended

OAKLAND, Calif. - EntSun -- On the eve of his 31st birthday, Billboard-charting and independent artist, Call Me Ace, releases "No Assistance." The song is written by Ace and co-produced by J-Dot Music and Logic Da Beatman. "No Assistance" is available on Apple, Spotify, Tidal and all streaming platforms.

Within the past 10 years, Call Me Ace co-founded Columbia University's hip-hop student group, acquired two degrees from prestigious colleges, and gained success at a Big 4 consulting firm as well as the biggest tech companies in the world. Even with a 5-year hiatus from hip-hop, Ace still managed to release over 7 music projects, headline shows and earn a Billboard accolade as an independent artist. In "No Assistance," Ace confidently embraces and attributes his triumphs to making it out of Section 8 housing, ignoring the haters, bypassing negligent music industry practices, and attracting life's fortunes by remaining himself.

Differently from his June release, Working From Home: Extended, which contextualized survival for a Black man in the midst of two crises, Call Me Ace holds the hand he's been dealt with pride and, furthermore, demands respect for how he's been able to play his cards—specifically, within the past 4 years. "Some might call it foresight, others call it fortune. All I know is I hustle every day until like 4 sum'n. Four years straight they said I 'blew overnight' - they blew that out of proportion."

In Call Me Ace fashion, "No Assistance" illustrates how far his talent and hustle has taken him, but also serves as a respectful call to action for listeners to value his rise before it's recognized on a bigger level.
