Stand back and watch the lightbulb moments, followed by guilty faces, followed by this response: 'What can you suggest?'"
Women still continue to take action and control to protect themselves at record levels. National Shooting Sports Foundation analytics offers supporting data. In a report published regarding firearms sales in 2021 , it revealed that more than 5.4 million people purchased guns for the first time (more than 30% of overall numbers), and that of these buyers, more than 30% were women. You do the math. For this reason, protection purchases, both lethal and non-lethal, for women, continues to rise as the industry frenzy has softened. It's critical that responsible dealers/retailers educate their customers on what off-body concealed carry options are available to them, the safe – and unsafe – ways to carry and how to draw their firearm or non-lethal weapon, such as pepper spray, under extreme circumstances.

The National Retail Federation recently announced that 84% shoppers plan to celebrate Mother's Day, and projected spending of a record $246 per person.
