13th International Horror Film Festival Now Accepting Submissions

CLEVELAND - EntSun -- Film and script submissions for the 13th International Horror Hotel Film Festival are now officially open!

Attendees of the upcoming festival are in for a treat.  With a new management team in place, a number of changes have been instituted to ensure that the best of indie filmmaking is highlighted and recognized. There will be new award designs, incentives and categories.  In addition to existing categories such as Film, Script, Live FX Makeup and Scream King/Queen, there is the new Room 237 Film Competition.  In this latest competition, the top three films will receive cash awards and trophies.

The weekend also includes a convention area with vendors (Friday afternoon to Sunday), various lectures by renown industry professionals and plenty of opportunities to mingle, socialize and network.

Filmmakers, actors, artists of all types and general supporters of the industry are invited to attend this event for and by Indie filmmakers. The International Horror Hotel Film Festival will be held from June 20 to June 23, 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland Airport hotel, 7230 Engle Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130.

ABOUT THE HORROR HOTEL FILM FESTIVAL

The International Horror Hotel Film Festival and Convention is held every June in Northeast Ohio. The 2024 festival marks the 13th edition and consists of competitions for films, scripts and music videos in the following genres:  horror, horror-comedy, fantasy, slasher, sci-fi, suspense-thriller, and experimental. The best of independent filmmaking is awarded and recognized in various categories.

The event features four days of film screenings, two days of panel discussions and lectures, vendor convention, special guests, networking parties, live competitions and more.
