WWO Welcomes New Board And Staff Members
EntSun News/10939989
NEW YORK - EntSun -- Worldwide Orphans Foundation (WWO) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to their Board of Directors. Meg Bode is the founder and president of Talking Hedge Events and Coco Sellman serves as Founder & Managing Member of Allumé Home Care and Co-Owner of All Pointe Home Care.
"We are thrilled to invite Meg Bode back onto the WWO Board of Directors. Her long-term dedication to the children and our mission is illustrated in her nearly 15 years of supporting us with her talent, her time, and her financial support: Meg is a treasure. It is an honor to welcome her back," said Claudia Fleming, WWO's Executive Director.
"We feel incredibly lucky to also welcome Coco Sellman onto the WWO Board of Directors. Her "all-in" approach to life, whether she is applying her business skills to a healthcare venture, or raising her children, or committing to causes that are close to her heart, Coco does not do anything halfway. We cannot wait to have her apply her passion, experience, and commitment to the growth of WWO," added Fleming.
In addition, WWO also welcomes two new staff hires to their US Headquarters team. In her role as Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning Manager (MEAL), Kayla Cody-Lushozi, MSW, will be responsible for providing support to our Country Directors to ensure that high quality systems are developed and consistently used to monitor and evaluate all WWO country programs. "Kayla will be an excellent addition to the team. She brings a depth of experience and a fresh perspective in quantifying our work. She will strengthen the systems that allow us to build on excellence, adapt our programs as needed and share meaningful impact with all of our stakeholders," said Melissa Middaugh, WWO's Chief Program Officer.
As Director of Development, Amy Tobias, CFRE, will lead all the organization's fundraising and marketing communications initiatives. "Amy is both a successful development executive and a strategic thinker. However, her background in marketing and public relations coupled with her development skills, make her a perfect fit for WWO. Her creative thinking and her ability to work as a member of the team, are already apparent as she enters her third week as our Director of Development, said Fleming."
