World Professional Latin Dance Championships Comes to Doral

Former Dancing with The Stars pro and ballroom dancer Karina Smirnoff will serve as commentator and conduct the live stream to the World Professional Latin Dance Championships where sixty-seven couples from almost thirty nations will compete.
MIAMI - EntSun -- The glitter and glamour of "Dancing with the Stars" comes to Doral this October 24-26, when former "Dancing with The Stars" pro and famed ballroom dancer Karina Smirnoff will serve as commentator and conduct the live stream to the 2019 World Professional Latin Dance Championships.
Top professionals from around the world, including from Miami and Doral -- Roberto Fernandez, Ashley Sanchez, Anton Tregubov, Ivan Mulyavka, and Karin Rooba -- will compete in one of the world's longest running ballroom dance competitions, which began in Miami Beach in 1970.
Sixty-seven couples from almost 30 nations will compete to be the world's best. Participating countries include Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Chinese Taipei, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Transnistria, Ukraine, and the United States.

The City of Doral is perfectly poised to sponsor the World Professional Latin Dance Championships, as it is a world-class international business destination. Doral is located just one mile from Miami International Airport and 13 miles from Downtown Miami. The city regularly hosts in excess of 100,000 people who work in Miami.
The host city of the World Professional Latin Dance Championships, like the Olympics or the World Cup, must be selected by a committee and must be voted on by the World Dance Council. The 2019 World Professional Latin Dance Championships will take place at the Trump National Doral. The last time the championship was held in the United States, it was held in Irvine, California in 2013.
