Vietnam Veteran Asks Americans to Help Find Businesses That Support Vets—and Earn Rewards

ORLANDO, Fla. - EntSun -- Senior Vet Discounts, a growing platform created to help Veterans and Seniors discover discounts and businesses that support them, has announced a new Referral Rewards Program that allows members to help expand the network while earning membership rewards.

The concept is simple: help find businesses that support Veterans and Seniors—and be rewarded for helping them join.

"People in every community know restaurants, stores and service businesses that support Veterans and Seniors," said Senior Vet Discounts founder and Vietnam Veteran Bruce Goldwell. "Instead of trying to find every business ourselves, we're inviting our members to help us build the network."

How the Referral Program Works

Anyone can create a Senior Vet Discounts account and participate. Members visit the Referral Program page for instructions on creating their personal business referral link using the email address associated with their account.

They can then share that link with restaurants, retailers, service providers, attractions and other businesses.

When a referred business uses the link, completes registration, pays its applicable participation fee and becomes an active participating business, the referring member receives credit toward rewards.

Current referral milestones include:

• 1 qualified business: 3 months of Saver membership
• 3 qualified businesses: 1 year of Saver membership
• 5 qualified businesses: SVD Community Ambassador status
• 10 qualified businesses: Lifetime Consumer Saver access, subject to program terms

You Don't Have to Be a Veteran or Senior

Senior Vet Discounts is also open to supporters.

Someone who isn't a Veteran or Senior can use the service to discover businesses that support those communities and choose to patronize them.

"That's an important part of what we're building," Goldwell said. "You don't have to be a Veteran to support a business that supports Veterans. We're giving everyone another way to say, 'Welcome Home. Thanks for serving.'"

Members who reach five qualified business referrals can earn SVD Community Ambassador recognition for their contribution to growing the Senior Vet Discounts community.

Goldwell hopes the referral program encourages people to turn appreciation into action.

"What better way to say 'Welcome Home. Thanks for serving' than to help Veterans save money and help them find businesses that support them?" Goldwell said.
