VIDI SPACE Announces First Annual Film Festival for Independent Filmmakers

LOS ANGELES - EntSun -- VIDI SPACE, a streaming channel that has created a space for independent filmmakers, is hosting its first annual VIDI SPACE Film Festival (VSFF). The event will take place on February 22, 2020, in the Washington, DC Metro Area.

The network originated as a media hub for paranormal, horror, haunting, and other similar content. Since launching in 2018, the platform has developed to include different genres, and VIDI SPACE now supports independent filmmakers with a place to showcase their creations.

The purpose of the film festival is to provide indie films with an opportunity to share their work on the big screen at an event that supports independent filmmakers. The VIDI SPACE Film Festival will award indie films in categories that include Best Picture, Best Short, Best Documentary Feature, Best Horror Feature, Best Experimental Feature, Best Animated Feature, Best Web Series, Best Music Video, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Special Effects, Best Sound, Best Original Score, Best Actor and Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, as well as Best CUP (Cryptid, UFO, Paranormal) film and series. The Grand Prize will be $1,000 in cash for the winner of the "Spacers Choice Award", which will be voted for by the VIDI SPACE community.)
