Veteran Geek Culture Broadcaster Returns with Back of the Cereal Box!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - EntSun -- Nashville – Veteran geek culture broadcaster John Pyka, formerly known as "Big Daddy Cool," returns with a new live-stream video cast called Back of the Cereal Box!

Back of the Cereal Box is seen live Saturday mornings at 9 AM EST/ 8 AM CST on Facebook and YouTube and is produced and hosted by John B. Pyka. "I am of an age where we didn't have iPhones or iPads at the breakfast table on Saturday mornings" says Pyka. "We read the back of the cereal box and that was a portal to all things pop culture; comics, cartoons, games, toys, and even music (yes, they actually printed records on the back of the boxes!)" Many fans will recognize hosts John Pyka and Dee Bartee from their runs on previous shows like Tales from the Geek from Comics Price Guide, and Comixstravaganza syndicated by Graphic Policy! "We are a growing broadcast network" adds Pyka, who created the show concept while in the hospital recovering from Covid-19 "with bigger plans beyond the audio and video podcast!" In August, BOTCB will release the League of Impossibilists comic book, the first comic published under the Cereal Box Comix banner. "We are also providing value added content for conventions and festivals" says Pyka, "like panel programming, workshops and convention entertainment!" But Pyka promises that is not all! The fledging network is looking to once again partner with other established brands, blogs, and content providers.
