TVS Nostalgia Network Adds Jackie Gleason Portfolio of Legendary Shows to Post Cable Network

ESSINGTON, Pa. - EntSun -- TVS Nostalgia Network has added four seminal TV series from the legendary Jackie Gleason. The Life of Riley, Cavalcade of Stars, Jackie Glerason Show, and The Honeymooners can now be seen on the TVS Television Network.Com 'Micro Channel'.

Few TV fans knew that Jackie Gleason starred in the original Life of Riley TV show in 1949. While it only ran one seasson it won the first Emmy for a sitcom. Gleason then made history again when he became the host of the Cavalcade of Stars for the long lost DuMont Network. He was such a national sensation that CBS signed him to host the Jackie Gleason Show. The Honeymooners was originally a recurring skit on the Jackie Gleason Show but became so popular in it's own right that Gleason made the sitcom while at the same time hosting his comedy show.
