Top 40 breakthrough Indie Artist Accidental Martyr launches new single

CALGARY, Alberta - EntSun -- Alberta based Independent musician Richard A. Coutts has been releasing music under his artist name 'Accidental Martyr' for several years and has been happy being under the radar in the music industry, until last week when the singer songwriter suddenly saw his 2020 single ' Closer you get' on the Canadian iTunes Top 40 Pop Charts. The single peaked at #31 on Saturday evening and it wasn't until fans started tweeting and messaging him that he realised what was going on.

As a musician Accidental Martyr has released a huge repertoire of music steadily and without much fanfare. However after last week's top 40 chart success fans will be happy to know that the artist has launched a brand new single worldwide during the Easter weekend. The single is called 'Deep End' and has already made it into several high profile Spotify playlists within hours of its official launch today.

Ric's eclectic mix of classic rock, pop, folk, jazz and blues is the result of many years of playing in several cover bands throughout southern Alberta. Never one to follow a trend, the music he makes depends on strong melody hooks and narrative lyrics, mostly inspired by love, relationships and social issues.

Accidental Martyr is also scheduled to be featured on the 10th Anniversary iTunes #1 album Goa Chillout Zone (WOA International) this month with his single Touch, and his new full length album to be released later in the  year.

Deep End is being playlisted across radio and retail worldwide and is available for download on iTunes and Amazon besides being available for free streaming for fans across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Unlimited and every other major music streaming service.
