SUN Automation Group and KOLBUS America Align Hycorr Parts Support to Enhance Customer Service
EntSun News/11097588
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - EntSun -- SUN Automation Group and KOLBUS America are aligning aftermarket support responsibilities specifically for KOLBUS and Hycorr equipment, with those parts and service support transitioning directly to KOLBUS America.
The change reflects both organizations' shared commitment to providing customers with the most efficient and responsive support experience possible. By consolidating aftermarket support through KOLBUS America, customers will benefit from a single point of contact for parts, service, and technical support related to KOLBUS and Hycorr equipment.
Since establishing their partnership, SUN Automation and KOLBUS America have worked together to serve customers throughout the corrugated industry. As both organizations continue to strengthen their respective areas of expertise, this transition represents a natural evolution designed to streamline support and improve the customer experience.
"At SUN, our priority has always been delivering the best possible experience for our customers," said Gokul Gopakumar, Vice President of Aftermarket Services at SUN Automation Group. "As we evaluated the most effective way to support KOLBUS and Hycorr equipment users, it became clear that consolidating aftermarket support through KOLBUS America creates the most direct and efficient path for customers. This alignment allows both organizations to focus on their core strengths while ensuring customers continue to receive exceptional service and support."

Under the new structure, KOLBUS America will serve as the primary point of contact for all aftermarket parts and service inquiries related to KOLBUS and Hycorr equipment. SUN Automation and KOLBUS America will continue to work closely together, and when appropriate, SUN's technical resources, field service expertise, and Helios digital solutions may be utilized in support of customer needs through coordination with KOLBUS America.
Over the past year, KOLBUS America has expanded its aftermarket support organization and invested in additional resources to enhance service responsiveness, parts availability, and technical expertise for KOLBUS and Hycorr customers across North America.
"KOLBUS America has made significant investments in expanding our aftermarket capabilities, including parts inventory, technical resources, and customer support infrastructure," said Anissa Smalls, President of KOLBUS America. "By bringing KOLBUS/Hycorr parts, service, and technical support directly under KOLBUS America, we are creating a more streamlined experience for our customers while strengthening our ability to respond quickly and effectively. We are excited to build on the strong foundation established with SUN and remain fully committed to supporting every KOLBUS and Hycorr customer throughout the lifecycle of their equipment."

Importantly, the transition does not change the strong partnership between the two organizations. SUN Automation will continue to represent and sell KOLBUS machinery throughout North America, helping customers access innovative solutions that improve productivity, flexibility, and performance.
"We greatly value our partnership with KOLBUS America and remain committed to the long-term success of KOLBUS and Hycorr customers," added Gopakumar. "This transition strengthens the support structure for customers while allowing both organizations to focus on what they do best. We look forward to continuing our partnership and bringing industry-leading KOLBUS solutions to the corrugated market."
