Steve Thompson Launches StickyHealth to Tackle the Retention Gap in the Growing GLP 1 Market
EntSun News/11101298
New company brings together LTV+ and Miri AI technology to help wellness brands support patients after the prescription, identify churn risk earlier and generate more value from existing patient relationships.
SEATTLE - EntSun -- Steve Thompson today announced the launch of StickyHealth, a support and intervention platform built for the companies driving the GLP 1 and wellness economy.
Consumer wellness companies have become increasingly effective at acquiring patients and delivering treatment directly to their doors. But Thompson believes the next growth challenge begins after the medication ships, during the weeks and months when side effects emerge, motivation changes and patients decide whether to stay.
"Consumer health has built an incredible acquisition engine, but acquisition without retention is an expensive way to grow," said Thompson, founder and CEO of StickyHealth. "The prescription is the beginning of the relationship. The opportunity is understanding what happens next well enough to support the patient, recognize when that relationship is changing and act before they leave."
Thompson brings nearly two decades of experience across data, analytics, customer technology, AI and healthcare, with a career spanning Microsoft, SAP Concur, Accolade, Tableau, Salesforce, CareRev and OpenLoop.
More recently, Thompson began exploring the business side of patient retention through LTV+, with a focus on retention, revenue and patient lifetime value. At the same time, Miri AI had spent more than three years building technology designed to support patients day to day while capturing behavioral signals traditional systems rarely see.

Thompson saw an opportunity to bring the two together.
"Miri was solving the part we were missing," said Thompson. "It was there with the patient through the moments that can influence whether they stick with a program. LTV+ was focused on turning data into action for the business. Together, we could connect support, signal and action in one platform."
That combination became StickyHealth.
StickyHealth consists of two connected experiences powered by the same intelligence. A white labeled patient app provides 24/7 personalized support, daily check ins, health tracking, wearable integrations and guidance informed by the patient's program. Those interactions generate behavioral signals around areas such as adherence, symptoms, sentiment and engagement.
The operator console brings those signals together with data from other sources to help teams identify patients who may be drifting before a cancellation appears in billing, determine who may need additional attention or escalation, and identify patients who may be ready for another relevant product or service.
"Billing tells you what already happened," Thompson said. "We want to help brands see when the relationship may be changing while there is still an opportunity to respond. That might mean providing additional support when someone is struggling or recognizing that an existing patient is expressing a need another product or service may address."

Underneath both experiences is technology developed and refined over more than three years. StickyHealth combines structured data, behavioral signals and purpose built intelligence to recognize meaningful changes in patient engagement over time, while AI powers the conversational experience.
"Anyone can access an AI model," Thompson said. "The defensibility is in what we've built around it. Years of product development, data infrastructure and calibration allow us to go far beyond a generic chatbot and turn ongoing patient interactions into useful signals for the brands supporting them."
StickyHealth is initially focused on DTC wellness and telehealth brands, wellness clinics and multibrand wellness platforms. GLP 1 programs represent an immediate use case, but the platform supports programs across weight management, hormones, sexual health, peptides, longevity, hair and skin, sleep and cognitive health.
For Thompson, the opportunity reflects a broader shift in the economics of consumer wellness.
"These companies have already paid to acquire the patient," Thompson said. "The next opportunity is helping that patient stick around longer and understanding when they may be ready for what's next. Retention and expansion can come from the same relationship."
By bringing together LTV+'s data and analytics capabilities with Miri AI's patient support and Behavioral Intelligence technology, StickyHealth helps wellness brands identify changes in patient behavior earlier, surface opportunities to provide additional support, identify relevant cross sell opportunities and build longer, more valuable patient relationships.
