Sid Griffin releases video for his new song Don't You Leave Us Too Soon
EntSun News/10823287
Written in response to a friend who contracted Covid-19, the song Don't You Leave Us Too Soon was demoe by Sid Griffin and a video created, in lockdown, to accompany the song.
CAMDEN, U.K. - EntSun -- Written in response to a friend who contracted Covid-19, the song Don't You Leave Us Too Soon was demoed by Sid The Squid live to a video with a few overdubs subsequently added by Chris Hillman. (The talented British Chris Hillman who plays with Billy Bragg, not the west coast Burrito Brother!)
The song must have some merit as Sid's dear pal, after suffering dreadfully for two weeks, recovered completely.

Sid filmed most of the footage in the accompanying video himself, around his home in London, and it was then sent to ageny Hathway Creative in Bromsgrove to edit.
Sid will be playing a free solo show live, via video stream, on Thursday May 21st and then again, with a different set list, on June 4th.
"I'm the guy from the Long Ryders in 1980s L.A. & the guy from the Coal Porters in London. Yes, I also make solo albums and do singer-songwriter gigs. Million Dollar Bash is my book on The Basement Tapes and I've never met Dylan." – Sid Griffin
