Chris Walker, who enjoyed a successful solo career with Top Five and Top 100 Billboard-charting singles 'Take Time' and  'Giving You All My Love'  before joining Jarreau as his musical director and bassist, also penned two new songs (Phenomenon and Jarreau) in honor of his mentor and friend.

During his appearance at the 2014 Pescara Jazz Festival, Jarreau hailed Chris Walker as  "The Best Singer This Side Of Venus," gladly sharing his stage with Walker in concerts across the world.

Walker believes that the album will be cathartic; not only to Al's family,  friends and colleagues but to his fans as well. Walker also revealed that he struggled with the decision to include the opening track, a personal voicemail he received from Jarreau only days before his passing.

The album is now available from https://chriswalkersmusic.com, Amazon Music and streaming on Apple iTunes Music and Spotify.
