Seapines AI Releases ReelLife Hockey v1.2.0 Beta With Team Highlights

TORONTO - EntSun -- Seapines AI today released ReelLife Hockey version 1.2.0 into beta testing. The update introduces Team highlights — a new way for hockey families to focus an automatic highlight reel on one side of the ice — while keeping the app's privacy promise: game video is processed entirely on the iPhone or iPad and is never uploaded to Seapines AI or third-party servers.

ReelLife Hockey already turns full game recordings into shareable MP4 reels by finding goals, saves, and other big plays on-device. Version 1.2.0 adds Highlight Focus so users can choose All highlights (a balanced reel of the whole game) or Team highlights, which favors plays for one squad based on jersey look — not jersey numbers. When Team highlights is on, My team lets users pick the side that matches their players: darker vs lighter when the teams separate clearly, or less colorful vs more colorful when both jerseys look similar in brightness.

Users can change Focus or My team after a game is analyzed and re-cut the open reel instantly — without running the multi-minute analysis again. The same controls appear in Settings and on the Media screen while reviewing moments. Team highlights is a Pro feature; during the beta, full Pro remains free, so testers can try it without being billed.

The 1.2.0 beta also improves goal finding for quick scores with only a brief crowd cheer, and makes stopping and resuming analysis smoother for long games.
