According to Certified Professional Coach Rosann Santos, CPC, the answer often comes down to comfort and uncertainty.
A stable job can provide security and familiarity, even when it no longer offers meaningful growth. The prospect of leaving that comfort and stepping into something unknown can cause professionals to delay making a change.
