Petite runway show finds a new home at Baltimore Fashion Week

BALTIMORE - April 17, 2019 - EntSun -- The petite focused runway show UNDER, a fundraiser facilitated by the Fashion Umbrella Foundation has found a new home to reach a larger audience.  Petite focused designers will showcase their collections on Sunday, August 11, 2019, during the 12^th season of Baltimore Fashion Week in Baltimore, Maryland at the Columbus Center.

Having a petite component during Baltimore Fashion Week is a major inclusion and places a broader spotlight on another facet of the fashion industry, the petite community.  Models 5' 7" in height and shorter will have their day on the runway alongside the designers who create looks to represent the under-marketed genre.

"Although this event is moving to Baltimore Fashion Week in August, this is actually UNDER's 5^th production season.  From a marketing standpoint, it just makes sense to merge the event with Baltimore Fashion Week.  If we think about it at the end of the day no matter the height of the model or category it's all a representation of fashion," stated Sharan Nixon, Founder of Baltimore Fashion Week.
