Orange Effect Foundation Awards Grants for 3rd Quarter 2023
EntSun News/11000125
CLEVELAND - EntSun -- The Orange Effect Foundation recently awarded $42,270 to 14 children and young adults across the United States with speech disorders. This quarter's grants were awarded after a thorough review process by dedicated members of the Orange Effect Board of Directors.
"OEF is thrilled to announce that we have just awarded $42,270 to children and young adults across the nation who are bravely facing speech disorders!" said Pam Pulizzi, Orange Effect Foundation Co-Founder. "Our commitment to providing access to speech therapy and speech devices is unwavering, and this quarter's grants reflect the dedication of our Board of Directors in ensuring these essential resources reach those who need them most. With the support of our incredible community, we continue to make a meaningful impact."
Third quarter 2023 grants were awarded by the Orange Effect Foundation to fund speech therapy or to purchase speech devices. The Orange Effect Foundation's grants are drawn from the generous support of the community, including participants in, and donors of, the 100 Holes of Golf Marathon, the OEF Golf for Autism, and the upcoming Night at the Races fundraising event.

With this quarter's grants, the Orange Effect Foundation has funded 388 children in 39 states. Grants have purchased 100 speech devices and more than 7,200 hours of speech therapy. The next deadline to submit a grant application is November 1, 2023. Information about the application process and upcoming events can all be found at www.theorangeeffect.org.
About the Orange Effect Foundation
The foundation, while officially formed in 2014, actually began back in 2001, when the founders' son was born with autism. Early intervention helped him to become a heartwarming and independent young man. The Pulizzi family wanted to give back by empowering other children with the therapy and tools they need to communicate effectively.
