New Nightlife Navigation App, Drink the Drink, Launches Exclusively in Miami

MIAMI - EntSun -- Drink the Drink, a digital platform that serves as a nightlife navigator and drink destination directory has launched throughout Florida. The free application allows local bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and liquor stores to update relevant information on upcoming events and specials.
The unique app's features include filtered search options to locate happy hours, drink and food specials, and local events such as bar trivia, ladies' nights, and brunch specials. DTD provides detailed information not typically found on directory sites like Yelp including ambiance descriptions, dress code info, cover costs, and event schedules. It also includes a liquor-store filtered search option that allows users to browse a liquor store selections and order items for delivery.
In addition to its one-of-a-kind features, the app has partnered with Uber allowing users to order rides to their selected destination directly through the app. The app also provides users with exclusive discounts on drinks, entry fees, and select liquor brands.

The program was created by Peter Dimakos, the entrepreneur behind Mackenzie James Distilleries. Mackenzie James Distilleries is responsible for the Black Anchor Hand Crafted Spiced Rum and Lucky No.8 Vodka. The alcohol brand is known for its cult following throughout the greater Miami area.
"I started Drink the Drink because there isn't really anything like it out today," says Dimakos, "right now, you have to jump from app to app or visit a business's website to obtain all the information we're providing you in one location. Plus, we're providing features you won't find anywhere else."
Alcohol-friendly establishments throughout Florida are encouraged to create a free account on the Drink the Drink app to add or update their businesses information and event schedule. The application is available for download via the Apple App store and Google Play.
