Music on a Sunday Afternoon with the Adelphi Chamber Ensemble

MENDHAM, N.J. - EntSun -- The Adelphi Orchestra continues its 67th Season of "Music for All" with a  live performance with the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra in works by Mozart and Dvorak on November  22  2020 at 4 PM.
The Concert is presented by The Community of St John Baptist. This concert will be live-streamed on YouTube and will be the first event in the Chapel with its wonderful acoustics, since the beginning of the pandemic.
On the program is Mozart: Quartet for Strings no 17 in B flat major, K 458 "Hunt" and
Dvorak: Quartet for Strings no 12 in F major, Op. 96/B 179  "American"
Musicians are Laura Hamilton & Sylvia Rubin(violins), Francesca Silos(viola), and Lanny Paykin(cello).

The Adelphi Orchestra is a professional, non-profit orchestra performing symphonic, chamber, operatic, choral, and dance concerts. For the past 17 years, the Adelphi Orchestra has sponsored a Young Artist Competition and Young Artist Concerts throughout New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. The Adelphi Orchestra presents concerts with accomplished national and international guest soloists and distinguished conductors. Nominated by its peers for the past 5 years in the Jersey Arts People's Choice Award in the Favorite Orchestra/Symphony Division, the Adelphi Orchestra is a member of the League of Orchestras and Opera America and is a partner orchestra with the Carnegie Hall Link Up program providing in-school concerts. The orchestra is currently under the direction of Music Director Richard Owen.
