Ms. Corporate America Mississippi Introduces Founding Leadership and Statewide Vision in Southaven

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - EntSun -- Ms. Corporate America Mississippi introduced its founding leadership and statewide vision during its Presidential Meet & Greet on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Maria's Cantina in Southaven.

Founding State President Samantha Hill and Vice President Dr. Anissa Short presented their plans to build connections across Mississippi and recognize accomplished Queens across careers, businesses, and communities. While Ms. Corporate America has been established for more than 18 years, its new Mississippi state organization is being built from the ground up.

Hill and Short shared the organization's mission: empower Mississippi Queens to use their voices with confidence, elevate the passion and purpose they already carry, and provide a platform for greater visibility, stronger connections, and community impact.

The gathering offered guests an opportunity to meet the founding leaders, ask questions, and explore involvement as prospective contestants, volunteers, sponsors, or community partners.

Mississippi State Senator Theresa Gillespie-Isom, representing Senate District 2, attended and addressed the Queens on leadership and community collaboration. Her participation brought public service into the conversation and demonstrated support for the organization as it develops its statewide presence.

Betina Hunt, three-time Ms. Tennessee Corporate America, who served from 2023 through 2025, shared her experience with the MCA organization and competition. Her testimony gave prospective contestants a firsthand perspective on personal growth, leadership, and opportunities for community impact beyond holding a title.

Guest speaker Amanda Dollar, Executive Director of the Mississippi Coalition Against Human Trafficking, contributed to the evening's focus on awareness, prevention, and access to support.

MCA Mississippi also presented its statewide initiative, "Beyond the Blues: A Mississippi Movement Against Human Trafficking." The initiative focuses on four pillars: awareness, education, partnerships, and resources.

Through its "Nominate a Mississippi Queen" campaign, the organization invites communities to recognize accomplished leaders whose work deserves greater visibility. The campaign welcomes nominations across professions and industries. A nomination is an opportunity for consideration, rather than a contestant application.
