mQOL Announces Jessica Willoughby as Chief Operating Officer

EntSun News/11102819
SAN JOSE, Calif. - EntSun -- mQOL, a healthcare data company transforming patient-reported information into actionable insights, formally announces Jessica Willoughby as Chief Operating Officer. Since joining mQOL in April 2026,  Willoughby has worked alongside the company's leadership team to build the operational foundation supporting its evolution into a healthcare data company and its next stage of clinical and commercial growth.

Over the past several months, Willoughby has helped align mQOL's people, priorities and processes as the company advances several major initiatives. These include creating a structured source of patient experience data that does not exist in the electronic medical record today, expanding its clinical research through three additional U.S. studies and preparing for the upcoming announcement of its FDA Class I medical device listing.

"We know the patient experience between visits contains information that can change care," said Frank Pezzullo, founder and CEO of mQOL. "The opportunity is bigger than the platform we originally built, but broader adoption requires evidence, operational clarity and a model that fits how healthcare is delivered and funded. Jessica understands that. Since joining mQOL, she has helped build the foundation to advance our studies, expand our data strategy and deliver this information in a way the healthcare system can actually use."

Willoughby brings experience helping healthcare and mission-driven organizations translate ambitious ideas into sustainable operations. Her background spans healthcare technology, organizational strategy and executive leadership, with an emphasis on building the teams, systems and processes organizations need to grow responsibly.

As COO, she oversees mQOL's operational planning, organizational development and cross-functional execution. She also works closely with the company's clinical collaborators and strategic partners to support its research, regulatory and commercialization priorities.

"What drew me to mQOL was the opportunity to make the patient experience more visible throughout the healthcare system," said Willoughby. "Patients generate valuable information every day between appointments, but much of it never becomes part of the broader picture used to guide care or research. Over the past several months, we have been building the operational foundation to change that and to ensure mQOL can grow in a thoughtful, sustainable way."

The platform captures patient-reported symptoms and quality-of-life information through accessible SMS-based engagement, without requiring patients to download an app. This information helps surface changes between visits and provides clinicians, researchers and healthcare organizations with a clearer understanding of the patient experience over time.

About mQOL

mQOL is a healthcare data company creating a new patient data layer that does not exist in the EMR today: the patient experience between clinical visits. Traditional EMR data is stagnant and captured sporadically, if at all. Through accessible, continuous engagement, mQOL captures changes in symptoms, quality of life, and medication adherence, transforming them into structured intelligence aligned with clinical priorities. By filtering out the noise and surfacing only the changes that matter, mQOL ensures the patient voice enables earlier action and better-informed therapeutic decisions. Over time, this data can strengthen research, advance more proactive care, and improve outcomes for current and future patients. To learn more, visit www.mqol.com
