Moonlit Farms Becomes Highland Oaks Weddings and Events Under New Family Ownership
EntSun News/11104354
The 36-acre Southern Indiana venue, 25 minutes from Louisville, unveils a refreshed ceremony site, a new exterior look and a completely remodeled bridal suite as it opens its 2027 calendar.
PALMYRA, Ind. - EntSun -- The wedding venue long known as Moonlit Farms is now Highland Oaks Weddings and Events, following its purchase this spring by John and Angie See. The new owners have renamed the 36-acre property in Harrison County and completed a round of upgrades aimed at couples planning 2027 weddings.
The updates include:
An updated ceremony site. The woodland ceremony site under the oaks has been refreshed. Couples can also marry in the open field or under the barn.
A new exterior look. The venue buildings now carry a modern color palette and a cleaner, more refined feel, in keeping with the property's outdoor setting.
A completely remodeled bridal suite. The suite where brides and their wedding parties get ready has been rebuilt from the ground up as a bright, comfortable space for the hours before the ceremony.
"We bought this property because the land is special, and we wanted the buildings to match it," said John See, owner of Highland Oaks. "Couples who toured here before will see a different place. We'd love for them to come back and walk it."
