Momentum Partners Exchange Launches in Tampa Bay
EntSun News/11104056
Inaugural event drew 74 founders, executives, investors and advisors
TAMPA, Fla. - EntSun -- Momentum Partners Exchange (MPX) officially launched on Sept. 15 with a sold-out founder conversation at the Centre Club in Tampa. The evening featured entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist Scott Riley.
The turnout sent a clear message. Tampa Bay founders want more than another networking event. They want honest conversations with people who have built companies and know what it takes to grow them. This is the movement MPX has launched.
Riley built and sold an advertising agency, co-founded several media and marketing companies, and helped launch the GTE St. Pete Grand Prix. He later spent more than 13 years as CEO of Fintech, the largest payment company in the alcohol industry, which processes more than $30 billion annually. He is a former Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the State of Florida and the author of "Zero to 30 Billion!"
"Founder communities don't need more panels. They need real conversations about scaling, fundraising, mistakes and execution. Seeing 74 people show up tells us that Tampa Bay is ready for something different." said Diane Buckley-Altwies, founding partner of Momentum Partners Exchange (MPX) (https://www.growwithmpx.co/).

MPX connects founders with experienced executives, advisors and strategic partners who can help move their businesses forward. The organization was formed by a group of leaders who met through Tampa Bay's entrepreneurial community. Its model is built on contribution, not transaction.
MPX is not setting out to replace the organizations already supporting local entrepreneurs. Its goal is to work alongside them and strengthen what is already working in the region.
" Tampa Bay has the talent and the drive to build great companies. What founders need most is access to people who have been there. MPX is creating that access, and I was proud to be part of the first conversation." said Riley.
MPX thanks its inaugural sponsors for helping make the launch possible. These include Gold Sponsor Achieva Credit Union, Media Sponsor Porter Media Group, and Silver Sponsors Aline Accounting Partners, Carrollwood Day School, Compass Registered Agent, Lopez Sanchez IP, The Creative Stable, Growth Compass Advisors, Suncoast Credit Union, and Yolm. ai.
