OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Sept. 5, 2024 ~ Midwest Institutional Trust Company has recently announced the appointment of James "Jimmy" Mitchell to a senior leadership position as Senior Vice President. With over 35 years of experience in the Taft-Hartley, asset management, and Public/Government fund industry, Mitchell brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.

In his new position, Mitchell will serve as the Senior Relationship Manager for Midwest Taft-Hartley Services and the National Director Relationship Development for Midwest Institutional Trust Services. He will be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and establishing client relationships for these lines of business.

Prior to joining Midwest Institutional Trust Company, Mitchell held various leadership and relationship management positions in operations, accounting, and trust investment sales. His primary focus will be on serving and expanding Midwest's client base nationally, with a particular emphasis on directing client service in the Chicago area and other regions such as the Great Lakes and East Coast/New England.
