Marc Yaffee Headlines Comedy Under the Star in Elk Grove Friday July 8

ELK GROVE, Calif. - EntSun -- Comedian Marc Yaffee, brings his Mid-Laugh Crisis Comedy show to  Laguna Town Hall in Elk Grove, Friday, July 8, for Comedy Under the Star.   Yaffee is a co-star of the Showtime special, Goin' Native, the first all-Indigenous standup special.   Since starting his comedy career, Yaffee has performed in 43 state and 11 countries, including six tours overseas for Armed Forces Entertainment.  He has also been seen on PBS, FNX and his own Dry Bar comedy special which has over 5 million views.

"I'm excited to come to Elk Grove," says Yaffee.  "My friends who've performed at Comedy Under the Stars, all say the audiences are a lot of fun."   Yaffee may be the only working comedian with air, land and sea credits.   He's entertained Alaska Airlines passengers at 30,000 feet; performed on a flat-bed truck for U.S. Marines in Iraq while getting his head shaved; and done comedy for Holland America, Princess and Carnival Cruise Line passengers.  He is also a regular in Las Vegas, having appeared at Brad Garrett's Comedy Club, Jokester's Comedy Club and the Laugh Factory.   Yaffee  was also named one of 2021's Indigenous Comedians to watch by IllumiNatives and was National Indian Gaming Association Entertainer of the Year touring with Pow Wow Comedy Jam.
