LUKH: A new rental service for Indian fashion
EntSun News/10804649
Forget about owning your Indian clothes, rent instead to give your closet and wallet a break.
CHICAGO - EntSun -- Indian weddings are unforgettable affairs with nearly a week long of events. But, attending multiple events require multiple outfits. While Indian dresses are wildly beautiful, they're also wildly expensive and incredibly inaccessible. Either you could buy a $1k plane ticket to India to find the the latest styles, or you could purchase Indian dresses in the US at a high cost ($500-$1,200).
LUKH is an online rental service, focused on making Indian fashion accessible to multicultural consumers in the U.S. They have just announced the launch of their platform at http://www.lukhstudio.com.
With the rental marketplace gaining more momentum than ever before, the three female founders of LUKH believed it was about time this concept extended across other cultures. They want all women, regardless of ethnicity and socioeconomic background, to look and feel confident at any Indian occasion.

As the number of both Indian and fusion weddings grows, LUKH is dedicated to give everyone the opportunity to confidently experience Indian culture and is committed to providing high-quality garments for all occasions. Their team is happy to guide wedding guests to the most beautiful and appropriate styles for each event.
By offering an ever-expanding borrowing closet of Indian styles in multiple sizes, LUKH also hopes to reduce outfit waste. Wedding guests often attend an event, post on Instagram, and never wear their dress again. By renting, it means less waste for a wedding guest and for the environment.
About LUKH, Inc.
Developed by three female founders (Rajul Parekh, Kinney Sheth, and Karen Desai), LUKH designs their own styles and works with tailors in India to bring those styles to life. They offer a variety of modern Indian fashion for women that span across multiple sizes. Dresses are offered an affordable price point to anyone in the U.S. for 4, 6, 12 day rentals.
