LBI Ferry adds Fest Express trips Oct 2 & 3

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - EntSun -- Take a ferry trip from Tuckerton Seaport over to the Taylor Ave Bayfront in Beach Haven on Oct 2 & 3 and dock into the Free Two Day Bayfront festival happening to close out ChowderMonth festivities. The LBI Ferry will run both days departing Tuckerton 11 and 2:30, and departing Beach Haven 12:30 and 4pm. To get ferry tickets please go to LBI Ferry.com (https://lbiferry.com/)  The free festival includes two days of live music, a wide variety of beer on tap, vendor village, ChowderMonth Champion announcements, Fall Pumpkin Patch, Face painting, food for sale, wine and seltzer on ice.  The festival hours are Saturday, October 2nd, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3rd, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Go to chowderfest.com (https://visitlbiregion.com/news/chowdermonth) and get your digital pass.  This service will be available at no cost for voters, check into three restaurants to receive your link to vote.  This year the cook off features restaurants looking for your vote in the White or New England Style: Country Kettle Chowda, Panzone's Pizza, Quincy's Original Lobster Rolls, Scojo's, Surf City Hotel, Polly's Dock and The Chicken or the Egg. Red or Manhattan style includes Country Kettle, Lefty's Tavern and Roberto's Dolce Vita. The Creative which presents seafood soups such as bisques include Dune 18, Country Kettle, LaBamba, Old Causeway Steak & Oyster House, Quincy's  and Delaware Ave Oyster House. Once you register to vote with an email address, you will have access to online mapping, digital check in, online voting, as well menu, website and contact info. Visit all 13 restaurants and win vintage merch for pickup at the free Bayfront Festival.
