Juneau: Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display Delayed to July 4

EntSun News/11096495
~ Juneau, Alaska - Due to inclement weather conditions, the annual fireworks show in Juneau has been postponed by 24 hours. The Juneau Fireworks Crew, responsible for organizing the event, made the decision to delay the show due to high winds and heavy rain that are expected to continue throughout the day.

According to Port Engineer Matthew Sill, who oversees the crew, these weather conditions make it unsafe for them to load and shoot the fireworks today. As a result, the show will now take place tomorrow, July 4 at 11:59 p.m., marking the end of Independence Day celebrations.
