"Jazz in the Vines" Summer Contemporary Jazz Series Returns to Jamesport Vineyards in LI Wine Country

NEW YORK - EntSun -- New York Wine Events is pleased to announce its fifth annual Jazz in the Vines contemporary jazz series will return to Jamesport Vineyards on the North Fork of Long Island on Saturdays, August 21 and 28.  Doors: 6pm; showtime: 7pm.

On August 21st, fan favorite Peter White takes the stage.  One of the most versatile and prolific acoustic guitarists on the contemporary jazz landscape, White combines elements of jazz, pop, and classical guitar, creating a unique sound that engages a broad audience of music lovers.

August 28th features keyboardist and two-time Soul Train Music Award winner Alex Bugnon and classically trained guitarist Marc Antoine. Touring the globe for over two decades, these acclaimed contemporary jazz artists have each amassed loyal fans nationally and internationally.

With a backdrop of vines and trellises, Jamesport Vineyards' Great Lawn transforms into an open-air performance venue featuring a spacious tent outfitted with a stage, professional sound and lighting, and appropriately-spaced concert hall-style seating. Additionally, guests can sit outside the tent in numerous casual seating areas. Optional food and drink selections from Jamesport Vineyards' own Little Oak Wood-Fired Kitchen include any of light bites and wines by the glass from a selection of more than 10 fine wines from the Jamesport portfolio, all produced on site.

"It's great to be back hosting the Jazz in the Vines series," says Ron Goerler, Jr. master winemaker and owner of Jamesport Vineyards.  "Bringing world-class musicians to the North Fork creates a cultural experience connecting fine wine, artisan food, and great music that really pleases the crowd. Jazz in the Vines is among the various events New York Wine Events (soon to be Crush Wine Experiences) presents throughout the year in the NY metro area and beyond. The summer concert series takes place rain or shine, with a tent protecting guests from the elements. Advance ticket purchase is recommended.

Tickets for Jazz in the Vines are on sale now, priced at $57-$67, based upon seat location. Check the website for details on Up Front Seating, General Admission Seating, and available food and wine. All ticket levels provide a seat; there is no assigned seating. Jamesport Vineyards is located at 1216 Main Road (Route 25) in Jamesport, NY. Ample, free on-site parking is available.
