It's Official: The Book Slam Live In Atlanta Returns Monday, July 8th!

ATLANTA - EntSun -- History is being built through the latest version of The Book Slam Live, an incredible platform where new and some of your favorite authors perform live readings of their books before a live venue audience. The next event is scheduled for Monday, July 8th, promising an evening filled with live music, amazing food and drinks, and an extraordinary vibe.

The Book Slam started online through the mobile app Clubhouse in 2020, quickly gaining popularity as a weekly show featuring 7 to 10 authors from around the world reading from their books. It presents an exclusive and intimate opportunity to meet, speak with, and hear from the authors, while also allowing authors to connect with other authors, publishers, illustrators, video editors, graphic artists, and book lovers. Over its four seasons, The Book Slam on Clubhouse has featured more than 900 author performance reads, including CNN/Headline News entertainment contributor and TEDx speaker Kim Ford, motivational speaker and business coach Shawn T. Blanchard, and Prince William County Poet Laureate Kim B. Miller.

The Book Slam Live premiered in Atlanta on Monday, June 17th, at Venue 78 in Lilburn, Georgia, with great audience attendance. Seven authors performed live readings of their books on stage accompanied by live music, creating a captivating experience.

Already scheduled to perform at the July 8th show is Dr. Gary Slaughter, author of "From A Battered Boy To A Man." Dr. Slaughter, who joined the audience on June 17th, was given an opportunity by co-host Dr. April K to briefly introduce his book, leading to a sell-out of every copy he had on hand that evening.
